WWII Day - Historical Society

Once again we had the Sampford Historical Society in to help us deliver a fantastic World War II Evacuee Experience Day. Clive, Heather and Peter used their expert knowledge to teach the children about the beginning of the war and what that meant for millions of children in Britain. Each child was then matched up with an actual evacuee who came to Sampford Peverell and then Clive led us on a tour of the village to show the children where 'they' lived. 

It was a fantastic day which taught the children so much about evacuee life in Sampford Peverell itself.
